A: All photos on this website are protected by copyright laws. The photos on The-Musicbox are solely intended for personal use. They are intended for your persoanl enjoyment either to be framed, kept in a photo album, or used as a personal "wallpaper" on your personal computer. All commercial use is prohibited. You cannot make copies of these photos to give or sell to your friends or anyone else. Q: What kind of prints will I receive? / Che tipo di stampe ricevero`? A: All prints are photographic prints printed on high quality photographic paper (usually Kodak Professional Photographic Paper) printed in a professional photographic lab. Like all photographic prints, if kept out of direct sun light, and if mounted correctly on photographic panels, they will last a very long time (15-25 years or longer). Other factors such as humidity can damage any photograph. That is why I suggest the photo be mounted and framed in a frame that does not have glass in direct contact of the photo.
R: Tutte le stampe sono stampe fotografiche stampate su carta fotografica (di solito Kodak Professional Photographic Paper cio'e` carta professionale Kodak) stampate da un laboratorio fotografico professionale. Come tutte le stampe fotografiche, se tenuta lontano dal sole e montate su panelli appositi per fotografie, le stampe dureranno a lungo (minimo 15-25 anni o di piu`). Certamente ci sono altri fatori come umidita` che puo` dannegiare qualsiasi fotografia. Ecco perche` suggerisco la montatura della fotografia esposta in una cornica che evita il contato della fotografia con il vetro.

Q: What exactly is the Photo CD? / Cos'e` esattamente il Photo CD? A: The Photo CD is exactly what is advertised. It is a collection of said photographs of the entire page of photos for sale of the individual artist(s) as seen on that page (unless otherwise noted). The Photo CD contains the individual images saved digitaly in TIFF format at 300dpi either in the original size noted on page or as otherwise noted (some photo cd's contain only 13x19cm. / 5x7in. sized photos due to the amount of photos included on the CD). These digital images are professionaly mastered on CD and ready for printing either on your personal computer printer or can be brought to a photo lab for professional printing directly on photographic paper. However, the printing of these digital files are intended for your own personal use and cannot be marketed in any form whatsoever, or you will be in violation of international copyright laws that bring heavy fines, and possible inprisonment. I have had a past experience with the United Colors of Benetton and was awarded $5,000.00 for improper use of my photo.
R: Il "Photo CD" e` esattamente quello che e` descrito. E` una collezione di tutte le foto viste sulla pagina del detto artista/artisti su una CD (certe eccezioni sono citate). Il CD contiene tutte le fotografie viste, salvate in file digitali nel formato TIFF a 300dpi. nella misura originale se non citato diversamente (certe CD hanno foto in misura 13x19cm. per via della quantita` offerta). Questi file sono masterizati professionalmente e pronti per essere stampate sulla vostra stampante PC personale, o possono essere portati da qualsiasi fotolaboratorio per essere stampati su carta fotografica. Attenzione pero`, questi imagini sono solamente per uso personale e non possono essere mai messi in commercio. Non rispetare questo accordo comporta la violazione della legge del copyright internazionale che porta multe pessanti ed anche la possibilita` d' inprigionamento. Ho avuto una esperienza di mancanza di rispetto al copyright con United Colors of Benetton e ho ricevuto 10 millioni dei vecchi Lire per uso illecito di una mia foto.

A: All prints will be shipped in a hard cardboard photo mailer via Priority mail. As soon as payment of photos are confirmed via PayPal, or when I receive a money order, then I will commence processing your order. Each order is handled individualy and brought to a prfessional lab for processing the final print. It should not take more than two weeks (14 working days) to receive your photo(s). However, at times I might not like the final result the lab has produced and return the photo for reprinting to assure you get the best print possible. If you do not receive your print within 14 working days please, send me an email stating so.
R: Tutte le stampe vengono spedite in buste di cartone rigido via posta prioritaria. Quando il pagamento e` verificato tramite PayPal, o da quando ricevo un vaglia, comincero` il processo di stampa portando il vostro ordine in laboratorio. Ogni ordine e` trattato individualmente e svillupato in laboratorio nuovamente. Di regola dovreste ricevere la vostra foto entro 14 giorni lavorativi. Comunque, ci sono dei casi di cui non sono completamente sodisfatto del prodotto finale dal laboratorio e richiedo la ristampata della foto. Nei casi in cui non dovreste ricevere la vostra foto entro 14 giorni lavorativi mandatemi un email e risolveremo il problema.

A: If you do not have a credit card you can send me a US Postal Money Order. See ORDERING WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD and copy the form from that page. Follow the instructions on that page. I also recommend that you send your order via registered mail so you have a record and tracking system of your mail. If you have any questions about this method just send me an email.

A: No. As stated previously, each individual order is handled seperately. The shipping fee helps cover my costs for travelling back and forth to the photo lab, acquiring photo mailers and inserts for the mailers, and of course postage. More photos in a mailer does not cut my costs considerbly. In fact, the postage is more because the weight of the package increases.I do not mail more than 3 photos in a package, and therefore any order over three photos requires more than one mailer. Please, remember that I am a freelance concert photographer and I don't get paid directly for what I do. I depend solely on my own efforts to promote myself and make any sales possible. I pay for my own transportation, and all other expenses. Therfore, I cannot offer any discounts.
R: No. Come citato precedentalmente, ogni ordine e` trattato come un ordine nuovo e seperatamente. Il costo della spedizione comprende anche il costo dei viaggi al laboratorio fotografico, le spese del materiale per spedizione, gli inserti usati, e ovviamente la tariffa postale. Ordinando piu di una foto non diminuisce le spese postali. In fatti le spese aumentano perche` il peso della busta aumenta. Non spedisco piu` di 3 foto alla volta in una busta perche non e` "sano" per le fotografie, e dunque richiede piu` buste. Perfavore, ricordate che sono un fotografo freelance. Non vengo pagato da nessuno quando vado a fotografare concerti. Il mio guadagno dipende tutto dal mio "selfpromotion." Tutte le spese per viaggiare e tutte le altre spese associate con stampare, svillupo, ecc., "vengono fuori dalla mai tasca." Dunque, non posso offrire sconti.

A: My internet images are probably the best representation of photo quality you will see on the web. However, it is still difficult to imagine the final product's quality. I put the best photos I have of a particular artist. More or less "what you see is what you get." However, one guarantee I can make is that all the photos look much better on printed photo paper than what you see on line. The best thing to do is read the three testimonials on my home page, and visit my TESTIMONIALS page and read what clients and professional musicians have said about my photos.
R: Posso solo dire che quello che vedete in linea e` molto rapresentativo della stampa finale. Preo`, posso garantire che le stampe fotografiche sono sempre dieci volte meglio di quello che vedete in linea. Certamente la stampa rende moto di piu`. Le mie foto sono state usate da tanti professionist nel mondo della musica (Uriah Heep-CD Sonic Origami, Tolo Marton-copertina del nuovo CD Dal Vero, Living Colour, Vic Firth-produtore di bastoni per percussioni, Alan Parsons Project, Marshall Amplifications), in riviste, copertine e inserti di CD, su siti personali di artisti, ecc. A: I am a member of the American International News Service and get accreditation through their requests. This is a news agency that then sends out newsletters describing what photos they have in their possesion, and try to market them to who might be interested. Once I am accredited by the promoters of the concert then I am allowed to shoot usually only the first three (sometimes only two) songs of a particular concert. That is it. You cannot shoot the entire concert. This puts the photographer under extreme pressure to get the "perfect" photo.

E` una agenzia che poi provede possibilmente a vendere le mie foto a giornali e riviste interesati. Quando vengo accreditato dai promotori dei concerti posso solo fotografare i primi tre (certe volte solo due) canzoni del concerto. Solo tre canzoni! Non puoi fotografare tutto il concerto. Questi condizioni mette tutti i fotografi soto gran stress per ottenere la foto "perfetta."

Q: What kind of camera equipment do you use? / Che attrezzatura fotografica usi? A: Since I started photographing concerts in 1994, I have used a combination of Canon T90, A2E, EOS 1N (film) and 20D (digital) camera bodies in the making of the photos you see on this site. I also use only Canon lenses such as the FD 85mm f/1.8, EF "L" f/2.8 18-35mm. zoom, EF "L" f/2.8 28-70mm. zoom, and EF "L" f/2.8 80-200mm. zoom, EF "L" f/2.8 IS 70-200mm. zoom. I have relied heavily on Kodak Max 800 print film pushed to ISO 1600, and I have found this film to be the ultimate concert photography film. I have used other films and slide films but, I personally find the Kodak Max 800 film to be a highly underestimated film for its possibilities in shooting concerts. Presently (since 2005) I have switched entirely to digital my Canon 20D and am elated at its abilities and resolution. I strictly shoot digital now.
R: Da quando ho cominciato a fotografare concerti nel 1994, ho usato una combinazione di macchine fotografiche Canon T90, A2E, EOS 1N (pellicola) e 20D (modello digitale USA) e una combianzione di obbietivi Canon FD 85mm f/1.8, EF "L" f/2.8 18-35mm. zoom, EF "L" f/2.8 28-70mm. zoom, and EF "L" f/2.8 80-200mm. zoom, EF "L" f/2.8 IS 70-200mm. zoom. Ho usato varie film a diapositiva e pellicole ma, ho trovato la pellicola ideale per concerti e` il Kodak Zoom 800. Da quando ho scoperto questa pellicola cosi sottosvalutato non ho piu` cambiato pellicola. Spinto a ISO 1600 rende colori, saturazioni e contrasti meravigliosi per una pellicola poco conosciutta e apprezzata. Lo consiglio a tutti specialmente a chi crede che il Fuji e` meglio (non c'e` paragone). Dal 2005 uso solo il digitale e sono meravigliato dalle capacita di questa "nuova" tecnologia.
