Vasco Rossi is a legend in Italy. He is the ultimate Rock Star in Italy and has had a following of fans for decades. Vasco, or Blasco as sometimes he is referred to, was first a DJ that turned Rock singer/song writer. His song writing and lyrics are outstanding and just get "right to it." Vasco's lyrics are easy enough for all to understand and most of all to identify with. Some of his songs like the new "Un Senso" are not only simple lyrics, but also very poetic, thoughtfull, and beautifully arranged with orchestration. I love that song! Vasco Rossi has touched the hearts and souls of all ages in Italy. Just to give you an idea of the popularity and impact Vasco Rossi has had in Italy, his song "Siamo Solo Noi" and "Vita Spericolata" are considered a type of national anthem for all Italian rockers. Vasco Rossi is not only a talented singer, song writer/lyricist, but he also has a good ear for Rock & Roll music and surrounds himself by very talented musicians like guitarists Maurizio Solieri and Stef Burns. All his musicians are extremely talented and can rock. Vasco can put on a show and EVERYTIME he gives a concert it is a sell out! He packs the stadiums with an average of 60 thousand fans and then some. A year ago he gave a free concert in Sicily and 250 thousand (250,000) people showed up! Now you know how big he is.

Even for those who don't understand Vasco and the Italian language (my wife for example) acquire a liking for his rough manly voice and musical compositions. Vasco can Rock and that is the bottom line. I am happy to have discovered Vasco and have had the opportunity to see him numerous times.
