Before 1998 I would have never imagined I would have a site advertising Rock & Roll photography for sale that would include over 130 Rock & Roll concerts with over 300 Rock & Roll photos for sale. I knew nothing about concert photography before 1994 when I photographed my first concert of Pink Floyd. That concert and the experience of photographing that concert inspired me to be involved with Rock & Roll photography.

After viewing my photos of the Pink Floyd concert I was not happy with all of them but, had a concert photo or two that I liked. I knew I had a lot to learn about concert photos and in particular Rock & Roll concert photography. I immediately noticed that Rock & Roll photos needed much skill in order to get that great Rock & Roll photo. A Rock & Roll concert poses many challanges in photography such as constant lighting changes, constant movement of the subjects you're photographing, low light levels, prohibited use of flash, sharing the "pit" with other photographers, and much more.

But, being the Rock & Roll fan I am, being able to see concerts of great legends up front and free was a great motivator for me to learn more about Rock & Roll concert photography. I belive that I have achieved a great amount of skill in Rock & Roll concert photography, especially after being published in various magazines and on CD's that I have gained enough confidence to offer my Concert photography for sale.
