The Rock & Roll photography for sale at THE-MUSICBOX contains some of the greatest Rock & Roll artist of all time. Through the medium
of Rock & Roll concert photography I try to capture
the best possible aspect of the artist in order to deliver a great concert photo. The Rock & Roll concert, by any means, is a difficult photographic subject. Rock & Roll photography is not your ordinary concert photography. There is more movement, constant changing of lighting effects, more spontaneity, and overall it is more dynamic. Concert photos of operas, string quartets, or symphonies are much more static, and do not encounter many changes in lighting.
Photographically, the photographer must constantly deal with changes of exposure. This means choosing the correct aperature and
shutter speed constantly, and following the "flow" of the artist(s) in order to capture the best Rock & Roll photos possible. At times you can only produce just one good Rock & Roll photo after shooting an entire concert. When I say "entire concert" that usually means only the first 3 songs of the concert ! Yes, another aspect/obstacle of concert photography I failed to mention. Standard procedure in Rock & Roll concert photography is to allow photographers to photograph only the first 3 songs and then "you're out of there !" By the way, I also forgot to mention that flash is not
allowed !
These are but a few challenges the Rock & Roll photographer encounters when trying to master Rock & Roll photography. So, when you view some of the Rock & Roll concert photography for sale on these pages please, take into account all the above mentioned. It will
increase your appreciation for all the Rock & Roll photos for sale you see here and your
appreciation for others that offer Concert Photography for sale.
