Maurizio Solieri is Vasco Rossi's lead guitaris and The Steve Rogers Band. For those not familiar with Vasco Rossi or just plain Vasco, he is Italy's biggest rock & roll star. Vasco always packs the stadiums with 60, 70, even 200 thousand fans and every concert is a sell out. Maurizio has appeared on almost all of Vasco's records and has toured all over the world in rock & roll concerts. Maurizio is also the author of many of Vasco's hit songs that have sold millions of copies. Soliere has also won many guitar recognitions not only in Italy but all over Europe and now in the United States.
The first rock & roll concerts photographed of Maurizio Solieri were strictly at Vasco concerts. The condert photographs you see on this page showcased Solieri as a guest soloist. At this concert I was able to hear Maurizio Soliri play different styles of music which demonstrated to me how good of a guitarist he really is. He played blues, oldClapton from the Cream era, even some Zeppelin, and played them exceptionately ! It was at this concert where I was really able to appreciate Maurizio Solieri as a great guitarist.
