Rock & Roll and Rock & Roll photography has, and is a dominant
medium in our modern world. Concert photos have filled thousands of magazines and
newspapers. The concert photo has appeared in people's homes on
walls, in coffee shops, in clothing stores as a fashion statement, in
clubs, on TV, stickers, posters, and many other places. Concert Photography was also used as a social statement
in the 60's & 70's to rebell against "The Establishment, or The System." More specificaly, it was the Rock & Roll photo that was used to rebell against
the society of the 60's. Rock & Roll Photos of Jimi Hendrix, Jim
Morrison, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan and others had great significance during the 60's anti-war and anti-establishment movements.
The Rock & Roll concert not only "turned us on" to new
and great music but, it also gave us new lyrics that were never sung
and introduced a new way to see the world and ourselves. I am a firm
believer that it was theRock & Roll artist of the 60's & 70's that
really put the pressure on the US government to stop the war in Vietnam. It was those artist that inspired me to become involved in
Rock & Roll concert photography. THE-MUSICBOX
offers concert photography for sale of some of the greatest Rock & Roll artist of all time that have not
only changed and shaped the future of music but, that have also been
responsible in trying to change our
world for the better.
